Elton John, den legendariske sanger og sangskriver, har delt en ganske trist nyhed med sine fans. Under åbningsforestillingen af musicalen "The Devil Wears Prada" i London, åbnede Elton op omkring sin sundhed og fortalte, at han har mistet synet på grund af en alvorlig øjeninfektion. Det kom som et chok for mange, da den 77-årige superstjerne har været en forkæmper for åbenhed om sundhedsproblemer, og hans modige tilståelse fik salen til at kvitre af både medfølelse og støtte.

Det viser, at Elton ikke kun er en musikalsk legende, men også en stærk aktivist, der kæmper for vigtigere sag – selvom han selv står over for udfordringer.

Eltons engagement i velgørenhed og samfundsproblemer, også når han står over for personlige kvaler, er inspirerende.
