Raven Saunders har taget OL med storm som den mest markante shot put-kaster i 2024! Med en fuld ansigtsmaske og bronzefarvede solbriller, iøjnefaldende neongrøn hårfarve og en attitude der skriger "Se mig!", var det umuligt for publikum og seere ikke at lægge mærke til den skelsættende atlet. Den tidligere sølvvindende olympier fra Tokyo satte nu sin kurs mod at opnå GULD i denne legendariske sportsgren.

Under kvalifikationen til kvindernes shot put viste Raven ikke kun imponerende dygtighed, men også sin unikke stil. Opildnet af deres egen karakter, er de ikke bange for at provokere med deres valg af udstyr og påklædning: "Jeg vil gerne inspirere andre kvinder til at tage chancer og fejre sig selv", sagde de efter deres imponerende præstation.

Raven, der kommer fra Charleston og er uddannet fra Burke High School, har senest kvalificeret sig til finalen og givet fansen en grund til at heppe.
