Intelligent Speed Assistance (ISA) er det nye hit i USA, hvor bilister får hjælp til at holde farten under kontrol. En undersøgelse fra Insurance Institute for Highway Safety viser, at 60% af de adspurgte støtter ideen om, at deres køretøjer giver advarsler, når de overstiger hastighedsgrænsen. Samtidig er højhastighedstog i fokus, da den 12. verdenskongres om højhastighedstog afholdes i Beijing med deltagelse af International Union of Railways og China Railway.

I USA og Puerto Rico tager digital lighed en central plads, hvor adgang til high-speed internet er afgørende for tjenester som telemedicin, online banking og skolearbejde. Men desværre mangler ca. 12% af befolkningen denne adgang. I Atlanta advares der om farerne ved højhastigheds e-cykler, hvor reglerne begrænser e-cykelmotorer til 20 miles i timen på fællesstier. Trods disse regler ser grundlæggeren af E-Board og E-Bike Atlanta, Jonas Ho, stadig ryttere på e-cykler, der kører for hurtigt.

Interessant nok var der en vild biljagt på 14 miles fra Port Clinton til Fremont, som endte med en frontal kollision, hvilket fortsat er under politiets efterforskning. Samtidig viser statistik om digital ulighed, at det er et udbredt problem i Nordøstamerika, Puerto Rico og De Amerikanske Jomfruøer.
