I en verden af kulturel gastronomi har Barcelona's Disfrutar formået at hæve sig til toppen som verdens bedste restaurant i 2024. Den hellige treenighed bag denne kulinariske perle består af de tre kokke Oriol Castro, Eduard Xatruch og Mateu Casañas, som tidligere mødtes på det legendariske El Bulli. Disfrutar har taget kokkekunsten til nye højder med moderne teknikker og smukke ingredienser, hvilket har resulteret i en gastronomisk oplevelse af uovertruffen kvalitet.

Prisuddelingen, der blev afholdt på Wynn Las Vegas, hylder det bedste gastronomiske talent fra 26 områder på fem kontinenter. Disfrutar har ikke kun henvendt sig til europæiske ganer - det har erobret verdensscenen som prikken over i'et for finsmagere globalt.

I 2023 var Disfrutar rangeret som nr. 2 på listen over verdens bedste restauranter, men i 2024 har det endelig sikret sig førstepladsen. Med Asador Etxebarri i Axpe som nummer to fortsætter Spanien med at have en dominerende tilstedeværelse i verdens gastronomiske elite.

Barcelona's Disfrutar har sat en ny standard for excellence inden for kulinariske smagsoplevelser, og med deres innovative tilgang til madlavning er de velfortjent blevet anerkendt som verdens bedste restaurant i 2024.
