Israel står over for en anmodning fra Sydafrika til FN's internationale domstol (ICJ) om at stoppe angrebene i Rafah. Under en høring fra ICJ blev Israel spurgt om de humanitære forhold i de erklærede 'evakueringszoner' i Gaza. Spændingen stiger, da domstolen undersøger påstande om folkedrab i Gaza. Samtidig fortsætter Gaza-konflikten, og Israel lover at intensivere sin jordoffensiv i Rafah på trods af internationale bekymringer.

ICJ holder denne uge høringer efter Sydafrikas anklage mod Israel for folkedrab i Gaza, mens Hezbollah angriber det nordlige Israel. Israel forsvarer sin militære operation, mens UNRWA rapporterer, at omkring 630.000 palæstinensere har forladt Rafah.
