Earth Hour er en årlig begivenhed, hvor ikoniske landemærker rundt om i verden slukker lyset som en symbolsk handling for at skabe opmærksomhed om klimaforandringer. Fra Ferris Wheel på Santa Monica Pier i Californien til Buckingham Palace i London og Eiffeltårnet i Paris deltager verdens mest kendte steder i denne globale miljøbevægelse. FN opfordrer folk over hele kloden til at deltage ved at slukke lyset lørdag aften klokken 20:30 lokal tid for at mindes planetens behov for beskyttelse.
Earth Hour 2024 er en af de største verdensomspændende begivenheder, hvor ikoniske steder markerer aftenen ved at gå i mørke. Fra Sydney Opera House til Empire State Building i New York, markeres begivenheden med et symbolsk slukning af lyset.
