I en turbulent periode for transportsektoren i Danmark er fagforeningen Transportarbejderforbundet imod udnævnelsen af Metro-Norths leder til STB's stilling. Fagforeningen hævder, at arbejdsmæssige spørgsmål bør diskvalificere operativchefen for forstadsjernbanen. Samtidig har Alstom indgået en aftale med SL om at levere yderligere 20 Movia C30 metro tog, hvilket udvider flåden til i alt 116 tog. Væksten i metroområdet i det forgangne år var imponerende med et samlet beløb på over $320 millioner i byggeprojekter uden for Sioux Falls. En vinterstorm har dog forårsaget strømafbrydelser og efterladt tusindvis uden strøm i metroområdet. Dramaet i metroen udfolder sig, og situationen er spændt!
