Lionel Messi og Luis Suarez stod over for en målløs kamp i deres debut for Inter Miami i MLS-sæsonen. De to stjerner spillede sammen i første halvleg mod El Salvador, hvor de ikke formåede at finde vej til nettet. Inter Miami's bus blev endda belejret af fans før kampen, mens Messi og Suarez kæmpede for at bryde El Salvadors forsvar.
