Pokemon Go players are fed up with the Box bundles available for purchase in the game, with some even expressing they are feeling “trolled” by developer ...
The Explorer Box is priced at a steep 1480 PokeCoin and contains 30 Ultra Balls, five Incense, 13 Super Incubators, and 2 Egg Incubators. In a recent Reddit post shared by The_Space_Monkey, the Pokemon Go player shares a series of images from their in-game shop. While the boxes used to be a cost-effective way to purchase Incense, Remote Raid Passes, and other items used regularly, recent changes have caused a backlash among the player base.
A Pokemon Go Trainer has encountered a terrifying glitch that turns Team Go Rocket Grunts into characters from a horror film.
Fans in the comments are just as disturbed by the gapping mouth and bugged-out eyes of the glitched Pokemon Go Grunt. Instead of the usual sneer and challenge to a battle, however, the player is met with a distorted monster. However, a new glitch has surfaced alongside the slew of Team Go Rocket Grunts that have taken over PokeStops in Pokemon Go.
Pokémon GO is a constantly growing and evolving game, which means that players can always expect new surprises and exciting features to be added over time.
This indicates that there is a likelihood of more Pokémon being added to the game in the future, providing players with the opportunity to further expand their collections and explore new challenges. It's worth noting that there are still many other Pokémon hidden in the game's files that are yet to be introduced to players. However, if your goal is merely to collect and enjoy, you'll aim to capture all the Pokémon game offers.

For March 28, 2023, Popplio will be in the spotlight, and you'll get double XP for catching Pokémon. And no, Popplio cannot be shiny in Pokémon Go (yet)!.
The more Pokémon you click on, the more opportunity you have to catch a shiny Pokémon. Spotlight Hour is among the most loved events in Pokemon Go, and that love emerges right before any Spotlight Hour event starts. Each month has a few.
Now, this Pokemon does not have its Shiny form available, which is one con, and possibly the only one. Each Tuesday of the month hosts a Spotlight Pokemon, numerous rewards and everything else for one hour, from 6 p.m. Each month has a few Spotlight Hour events, and these events feature many different Pokemon, with different bonuses and perks for Trainers.
Popplio joined the Pokemon GO roster alongside its fellow starter Pokemon Rowlet and Litten on March 1, 2022.
We're only three months into Pokemon GO's event calendar for 2023, which leaves ample time for the game's developers to introduce [shiny Litten/Rowlet/Popplio](https://www.sportskeeda.com/pokemon/fact-check-can-rowlet-shiny-pokemon-go-march-2023) in the upcoming months. It's something that the game's community has criticized Niantic for in the past, but this doesn't appear to be changing the developers' plans anytime soon. [Season of Alola](https://www.sportskeeda.com/pokemon/which-pokemon-best-season-alola-pokemon-go) was considered the ideal time to release these shinies given the fact that Popplio, Litten, and Rowlet are regional natives, Niantic appears to have other plans in store. By adding shiny Starter Pokemon like the Alolan trio to the game during an upcoming event, trainers who may not have been interested in it before will have a reason to take part. Since Pokemon GO players will soon have the opportunity to capture a large number of Popplio, they're likely wondering if it has a shiny variant available to capture. In addition, Popplio is receiving its own Spotlight Hour on March 28, 2023, from 6 pm to 7 pm local time.
Thanks to the increased Popplio spawns, this event is the best opportunity for players to farm Popplio Candy or even catch a perfect Popplio to evolve into ...
Plus, you can use a Lucky Egg to get an additional double XP on top of the event bonus! However, what makes some Spotlight Hours so great is if the shiny version of the featured Pokemon is available – but this isn’t always the case. The Popplio Spotlight Hour is taking place from 6 PM to 7 PM local time on March 28, 2023.
When it comes time to review a given Pokemon for raids, what is the first thought that comes to mind? Sure, we think of Attack and Moveset, but before that ...
While not as strong as Shadow Volcarona, it has the potential to rock the Bug meta as well... This one is a bit of a long-shot, but Mega Beedrill does have the potential to rise in the rankings. These are the Pokemon that have very real potential to outright shift the Bug Type meta. It's already got its best possible moveset, though Pin Missile does have the potential to be a great move. [Fell Stinger](https://gamepress.gg/pokemongo/pokemon-move/fell-stinger), [Silver Wind](https://gamepress.gg/pokemongo/pokemon-move/silver-wind), and [Lunge](https://gamepress.gg/pokemongo/pokemon-move/lunge), meanwhile, are what you put on a Pokemon if you just don't want it to do raids. Great news for Censiskorch: it 's another Bug that actually has access to its best possible moveset in the game data right now! [Struggle Bug](https://gamepress.gg/pokemongo/pokemon-move/struggle-bug) and [Hidden Power (Bug)](https://gamepress.gg/pokemongo/pokemon-move/hidden-power-bug), and these two moves are literally identical in terms of stats. Overall, Bug is easily one of the saddest types in Pokemon Go. Looking at the current top attacker list reveals just how harsh this type has it in practice; the top non-Mega Bug Types are all shadows of Pokemon that are now considered mediocre at best. Add to this the fact that Bug Types only deal Super Effective damage to Psychic, Dark, and Grass types, all three of which are also countered by some of the objectively strongest types in the game, and it becomes pretty obvious why Bug Types tend to be ignored outside of double-effectiveness. Let's take a look, as we review the Bug Type and its impact on the raid meta. So is that view justified, or is there more to the multi-legged Pokemon that reside within the heading of Bug Type?
Cutiefly just got teased by Niantic on Twitter. Read the article to find out more about this super cute Gen 7 mon, and speculate/analyze.
I am so stoked about Cutiefly and Ribombee dropping, they are soo cute! Ribombee can learn are Fairy and Struggle Bug for the fast move department, and Bug Buzz and Dazzling Gleam as charged moves. This is none other than Cutiefly, the Bee Fly Pokémon from Generation 7 (Alola) with a dual typing of Bug and Fairy.

Pokemon Go player blames their fast-moving vehicle as to why the trainer failed to catch a Shiny Gardevoir.
The post included a screenshot of several Pokemon running away from the player, including a Shiny Gardevoir. This ultimately led to the trainers running away from the Shiny Legendaries instead of the Pokemon fleeing from them. While it’s unclear if the trainer was the driver or the passenger, Pokemon Go’s flee rate still increased to 90% due to the vehicle’s speed. The Legendaries would not stay caught even after using hundreds of Pokeballs and Berries. In Generation VI, Gardevoir received a Psychic/Fairy dual-type and the ability to Mega Evolve by activating the Gardevoirite item. Therefore, the pain of one running away from trainers is indescribable.
One Pokemon Go player receives approval from Niantic to establish his home as a Pokestop after weeks of trying.
Furthermore, the company didn’t allow items to become Pokestops if they were between a house and a street. its_brennaners revealed that he used a small lending library in his neighborhood as the landmark for the Pokestop. However, Niantic allowed one Pokemon Go player to create a Pokestop where he doesn’t even have to leave his house to spin. However, Niantic tends not to notify users of any Pokestop changes. Wild Pokemon also gather around the Pokestop, and trainers can place Lure Modules there for more mons to appear. The trainer shared that the company had initially denied his request, but he appealed it.

This is true for Lugia, a powerful Legendary Pokemon from the second generation, only obtainable following its defeat in a Five-Star Raid. Defeating this Lugia ...
This includes options for all five of Lugia's weaknesses, with their recommended attacks. Against this specific opponent, this means using Pokemon that utilize either Electric, Dark, Ghost, Rock, or Ice-type attacks. Due to the power and bulk of Lugia in this Raid, it's best to have multiple parties of Pokemon prepared, allowing you to quickly rejoin the battle if your initial party gets knocked out. Unlike others that can be completed with a smaller group of Trainers, it is recommended that you attempt this Raid with at least five to seven players in your group. This is true for Lugia, a powerful Legendary Pokemon from the second generation, only obtainable following its defeat in a Five-Star Raid. Legendary Pokemon are the best example of this, rarely being available through other in-game methods.
One of the quintessential types that players building a raid team need to be able to counter is Psychic Type. As the projected strongest type in the game ...
While Dark will likely never be able to challenge the monster that is Mega Gengar, it actually does have some very powerful options now and some very real potential for a very bright future, to the point where some non-Mega Dark Types already top non-Mega Ghosts. Other shadows with potential are Shadow Chi-Yu and Shadow Chien-Pao, but speculation on these two releasing as Shadows just compounds the above uncertainty outlined. All three are reasonably viable options for Shadow Pokemon moving forward, and they all have the potential to upend the Dark Type meta when/if released. And since Judgement is very likely to be an extremely strong move, it's just a matter of hoping that this deified Pokemon is granted a strong Dark Type Fast Move to allow it to truly excel in this meta. If it were ever given Foul Play or especially Brutal Swing, it would become nearly undisputed as the Dark Type Mega Evolution of choice. However, it has a Signature Move in Ceseless Edge, and if given the Hydro Cannon/Blast Burn/Frenzy Plant treatment, it has some potential to be a good Dark Type despite its lower attack stat. The best option in that regard would probably be Lock Jaw given its limited distribution. This alone puts its top potential over the other Pokemon in this section, and it could go even farther if its signature move, Kowtow Cleave, ends up being added with good stats. Feint Attack and Bite are the bottom-of-the-barrel for Dark Type Fast Moves. For Fast Moves, the moves that any Dark Type Pokemon wants to have are Snarl and Sucker Punch. For Mega Evolutions, Dark Types tend to actually be pretty solid, ranging from glass cannons like Mega Absol and Mega Houndoom to tanks like Mega Gyarados. Dark Types rely on their resistance to Ghost Type attacks and double-resistance to Psychic Type attacks to flex their TDO-counter capabilities, but when facing other attack types they actually tend to be fairly frail, with many of the top Shadow Dark Types in particular sporting pretty low bulk.
