The six-time Roland Garros champion and five-time Wimbledon winner sat down with Tennis Channel in Indian Wells.

- FILA is doubling down on its commitment to the next generation of tennis players by donating more than 200 tickets to local Coachella Valley high school tennis teams to attend the 2023 BNP Paribas Open. And, which another Borg might continue to do: Bjorn's 19-year-old son, Leo. As he did in winning five consecutive Wimbledons and four consecutive French Opens (Borg won six Roland Garros titles overall), the 66-year-old Swede donned a fashionable Fila polo that fit just right.

Bjorn Borg runs into 'old friend' Jimmy Connors during the Indian ... (Sportskeeda)

Tennis icons Bjorn Borg and Jimmy Connors ran into one another during the ongoing Indian Wells Masters.

Borg and Connors faced each other in two Grand Slam finals in 1978, with the former winning Wimbledon while the latter triumphed at the US Open. The two met in four Grand Slam finals, the first of which came at the 1976 US Open. Their first meeting came in the semi-final of the Stockholm Open, where Borg won 6-4, 3-6, 7-6.

The image of the duo meeting up was shared by Borg's wife Patricia on Instagram. They probably would have won more if Borg didn't retire young but that's a story for another day. These players are some of the greatest players to ever hold a racquet as they won a combined 19 grand slams among them.

Tennis legend Bjorn Borg recently met tennis commentator Prakash Amritraj on the sidelines of the 2023 Indian Wells Masters.

"To come to Indian Wells, it's amazing," said Borg. "My son is playing a lot, he's playing with the Fila of course," said Borg. At the Challenger event, the 11-time Grand Slam champion ran into his former rival and friend Vijay Amritraj, whom he first played against back in 1973. Bjorn Borg was recently in India accompanying his son Leo, who was competing at the 2023 Bengaluru Open. They made a video call to the latter's father, former player Vijay Amritraj, and the trio enjoyed a lighthearted conversation, which included the Swede admitting that he misses Indian food.
