Kendrick Lamar among 16 new acts added to Roskilde Festival line-up (whynow)

Kendrick Lamar and Caroline Polachek are among the new names added to Northern Europe's largest music and arts festival, Roskilde Festival.

He’ll be playing Roskilde Festival for his third time, and it will be his first in eight years. Roskilde Festival has been going since 1971, when it was set up by two high school students and a promoter. American singer-songwriter Indigo De Souza, New Orleans no-wave punks Special Interest, and Beninese-American artist Angélique Kidjo are also playing, it’s been announced today. Central Cee, Rina Sawayama and Tove Lo were previously announced too. The new acts are among 16 in total that have been added to the billing for the festival in Denmark, which is taking place between 24 June and 1 July. Kendrick Lamar, Caroline Polachek and Weyes Blood are among the new names added to Northern Europe’s largest music and arts festival, Roskilde Festival.
