For the first four issues in this run, it’s clear that the people who created this comic have some bright futures ahead of them. I usually only read Marvel or DC comics due to familiarity but this series edges a lot of the comic books in those franchises. I loved that they pull you away from the realism of what was going on and just give you a strip or two of this. As mentioned in the story, it did take me a few strips to get what was going on but this was quickly evaded and didn’t take away any of the entertainment value. It really did just set the tone for the rest of this series. It added this element of darkness surrounding the story, this was blended with color on certain graphics to further implement a level of feeling within the pictures. An incredible series that left on a cliffhanger as a reviewer and the first time being introduced to the series, I am blown away. You can see exactly what’s going on and the attention to detail is perfect. The comic spent time introducing you to Cherry and his background, only for the adventure to take a huge twist. I’ve read a few comics before where they’re poorly drawn or designed to the point where you can’t make out what’s going on. The story focuses on Nora and her adventure, this adventure focuses on her having to kill monsters.
