The final details of the move are set to be finalised relatively quickly. The Dutchman, whose profile is appreciated by United manager Erik Ten Hag is expected to move to the Premier League side in a loan deal, which has reportedly almost been fully agreed between the various parties.

The 30 year old striker is currently on loan in Turkey at Besiktas from Championship side Burnley. Weghorst has scored 8 goals so far in the league this season.
