We would like to take a moment to thank you, our readers for being part of this community that we created in 2005 when CTNewsJunkie was originally launched.

And the two deaths bring Connecticut to a record total of 69 pedestrians and cyclists killed this year. Two pedestrians lost their lives this week in West Hartford, and another was grievously injured, in three separate incidents that included a hit-and-run on Tuesday. But throughout these nearly 17 years you’ve embraced us and our efforts, and for that we are grateful.
