Over the last 12 games he’s been on the ice for only three goals for, and 13 against. It was the last shift Kessel played with the top line, and he played only 1:25 in the last 32:45 from that point. Unlike most in the bottom six, Kessel does have a role on the power play, although he has yet to score a power-play goal this season and has only four assists (tied for the fewest points of any regular on the unit). Kessel brings a great veteran presence to the Golden Knights.
