Hoophall West Thursday: Texas bound five-star Ron Holland, others ... (247Sports)

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- The Hoophall West remains a must stop on the winter event circuit and action kicked off on Thursday with a round of four games.

[Rodney Brown](//247sports.com/Player/Rodney-Brown-46116837) had a solid effort as well. Playing in front of his future head coach [Tommy Lloyd](//247sports.com/Coach/Tommy-Lloyd-2921), Arizona signee [KJ Lewis](//247sports.com/Player/KJ-Lewis-46104191) was very quiet. [Caleb Foster](//247sports.com/Player/Caleb-Foster-46103042) got going for a few stretches. [Dusty Stromer](//247sports.com/Player/Dusty-Stromer-46117533) of Sherman Oaks (Calif.) Notre Dame was going to have an epic performance. The 6-foot-7 senior at Temecula (Calif.) Rancho Christian was efficient and playing above the rim. By the time he was done, Madi had scored 28 points and grabbed six rebounds. He went right at Stromer and Foster on both ends of the floor and also got off to a really fast start from deep. Unsigned three-star big man [Cameron Barnes](//247sports.com/Player/Cameron-Barnes-46104190) ran the floor hard and was active around the rim. Then when it was time to win in the fourth quarter, Holland made the types of plays -- mostly attacking the rim and helping lead a tough defense -- down the stretch that we've grown accustomed to seeing him play. [Kayden Edwards](//247sports.com/Player/Kayden-Edwards-46125691) continues to look like one of the best shooters in his class and he connected on four of five from behind the three-point line. Led by their five-star stud Holland, Duncanville absorbed the punch and then did some punching of their own to close the lead to two by halftime. -- The Hoophall West remains a must stop on the winter event circuit and action kicked off on Thursday with a round of four games.

New round balers from Case IH and New Holland (Grainews)

The latest addition to the Case IH round baler family are the RB6 HD Pro series balers, which are specifically built for wet and heavy silage. The brand says ...

For producers who put up smaller numbers of bales each year, they can opt for the new RB456A standard round baler, which has a 30 per cent wider pickup, a stuffer feeding system and an upgraded wrapping system. At the lower end of New Holland’s baler product line is the Roll-Belt 450 Utility Plus model. A new heavy-duty drive system should provide for a more durable design and longer machine life. The latest addition to the Case IH round baler family are the RB6 HD Pro series balers, which are specifically built for wet and heavy silage. The brand says the RB6 HD Pro balers allow for faster baling speeds and use fewer moving parts and chains. Both Case IH and sister brand New Holland have been making similar new product introductions at the same time for the past few years.

Holland coach Mason Theile gets first win as Dutch top Kelloggsville (HollandSentinel.com)

The Dutch improved to 1-1 on the season as coach Mason Theile earned his first varsity win with Holland.

Kelloggsville big man Juac Ayual had eight of his game-high 12 points in the third, but it wasn’t enough to bridge the gap for the Rockets. The Rockets didn’t score again until a free throw 5:33 later, and by that point, Holland led by 12. That was where they put the Rockets out of arm’s reach for the night.

Astute community members also note that policymakers now must figure out a way to throttle the push on the gas to peddle industrial tourism and commercial recreation on or near our public lands. But 99 percent of 6,500 comments were opposed to the project because of its potential deleterious effects on the environment and huge footprint in a rural valley that does not want to be another Big Sky or Yellowstone Club. Please see our republishing guidelines for use of photos and graphics. Its complete mishandling of the expansion proposal, which was years in the making and secret, has shattered any public trust and confidence in the ski giant as well as lodge owner Christian Wohlfeil. (The Challenge’s community members work together to keep the Blackfoot watershed a working rural landscape.) The airship caught fire and was destroyed when it attempted to dock, and resulted in iconic photographs that echo today.
