[Abbie Breakwell](/fan-zone/british-tennis-players/abbie-breakwell/) finished as runner-up in both draws this year – staring with the singles where she was defeated 6-1, 7-5 by Israel’s Maayan Zikiri. It was a similar story for 27-year-old Shaw, who won both the quad singles and doubles competitions in Abingdon, to claim his first trophies of the year. [Aidan McHugh](/fan-zone/british-tennis-players/aidan-mchugh/) led the way for the Brits in the M25 Glasgow with his first singles crown of the year so far. Ward went unbeaten in Abingdon as the 17-year-old won his first senior singles and sixth doubles title of the year. Once again, they cruised into the final where they were due to play fellow Brits Joshua Johns and Glasspool is one of three Brits currently in the top eight teams heading to Turin.
