Beginning with the 2nd Round which kicks-off 18th October, SPN’s sports channels will broadcast the main part of this year’s DFB-Pokal season. Sony Pictures Networks (SPN) has bagged the exclusive media rights to broadcast the 2022-23 season of the DFB-Pokal. The partnership will also give SPN the rights to live-stream all the matches on its premium OTT platform, SonyLIV.

Last season’s DFB Pokal streamed for free on YouTube, after the German Football Association (DFB) failed to secure a broadcast partner for the region. SPN also holds the regional rights to German soccer’s top-flight Bundesliga, Sony Pictures Network (SPN) has acquired exclusive Indian broadcast rights to German soccer’s DFB Pokal for the 2022/23 edition of the knockout cup competition.
