The sneaker store

The stereotypically stodgy Upper East Side is now marginally cooler thanks to the arrival of a fashionable sneaker shop: "Vaulted Laces.".

Its owner, Apler T., grew up on the Upper East Side and told both outlets that he was excited to introduce sneaker-head culture to his home neighborhood. Kicks listed for sale on Vaulted Laces' [website](https://www.vaultedlaces.com/) include Nike Dunks, Kanye West-branded Adidas Yeezys, and, of course, Jordans — not to mention a store-branded t-shirt and apparel from the cult-favorite Supreme.
