The Next 365 Days Movie Review - Please, make it stop already (The Review Geek)

This is a poorly constructed waste of time, and another entry in the ongoing 365 universe that continues to lowers the bar for movie standards.

This is a poorly constructed waste of time, and another entry in the ongoing 365 universe that continues to lowers the bar for movie standards. The fact that this plot doesn’t even end should tell you everything you need to know about this film. This time, the writers can’t even be bothered to do that – and it shows. As she starts to dive into the world of fashion again, Nacho returns and causes Laura to feel conflicted. Given the very low bar the previous two films have set, it’s perhaps surprising then to see the bar lowered even further here, as the third movie has even less of a plot, makes even less sense and has even less of a resolution than the first 2. Emphasis on the word so far because this will do big numbers for ‘Flix and a sequel will likely be greenlit too.

365 Days 4 has yet to be confirmed, but could happen on Netflix (digitalspy.com)

Laura and Massimo are back in The Next 365 Days, but will there be a 365 Days 4 on Netflix? Let's take a look at the chances of another 365 Days movie.

With 365 Days 4 not even confirmed by Netflix, filming hasn't started and therefore footage will be a long time away. It could also be set around the wedding of Olga and Domenico whose relationship didn't really get a look-in during the third movie. There were two years between 365 Days and its sequel 365 Days: This Day, so that seems a more likely timeline if we are going to get a fourth movie. The fourth movie would start with Laura having already decided between Massimo and Nacho, before further drama in their relationship. There's no sign that a fourth movie has been filmed in secret, so we would be waiting longer than a few months. This continued in the third movie that pretty much told its own story compared to the book it was loosely based on.

The threat is clear: she wants him to die, there won’t be forgiveness or understanding. The girl is furious with her man and screams her anger against him. The story is about love, sex, and fighting against life to have the person you want next to you.

The Next 365 Days Review: Michele Morrone's threequel is yet ... (PINKVILLA)

Michele Morrone and Anna Maria Sieklucka return for 365 days' third instalment and it's a messy affair all through. Read Pinkvilla's review of the film ...

The fact that the film lacks any intent to convey a story that has something to say itself is enough to show you what you may be signing up for if you decide to watch this two-hour film. Of course, it's these intimate scenes that have been a staple to the franchise and without them, the audience would drop watching the film in the drop of a hat. One of the most disturbing bits of this film is also that it constantly has songs playing during the transitions between scenes and it does seem like the film uses music much more than any dialogues. The confusion that Laura faces in choosing between Nacho and Massimo doesn't have enough fodder to make an entire film interesting and hence, a lot of the erotic scenes are forced into the narrative. [Laura (Anna Maria Sieklucka) ](https://www.pinkvilla.com/entertainment/hollywood/video-shirtless-michele-morrone-beach-sings-happy-birthday-365-days-co-star-anna-maria-sieklucka-760301)was going to die, well she does survive and the story picks up in the threequel with her and Massimo (Michele Morrone) being in different places after the hardships that they go through their relationship in the last film. One of the biggest franchises that received a massive fan base during the lockdown happened to be 365 Days, the first film in the erotic thriller trilogy starring Michele Morrone, which made the Italian actor an overnight sensation.

The Next 365 Days Review: A Waste of Time in the Truest Form (Leisurebyte)

The Barbara Bialowas and Tomas's Mandes directorial is based on the novel of a trilogy by Blanka Lipinska starring Anna-Maria Sieklucka, Michele Morrone and ...

The dialogues take another hit due to the vivid and obvious lack of the screenwriter’s knowledge of the language. Even though the supporting characters, Laura’s BFF Olga and Domenico, Massimo’s friend and business partner, try (a little too hard) to provide some comic relief, they are burdened with the absolute failure of the script to bring the personalities of their roles alive. While Massimo is dominant and coercive, the new love interest of Laura, Nacho (a gardener: yet another stereotype), is understanding and thoughtful. A climax that feels like a montage of two people falling in love (when they are most definitely absolutely not), one where you wish the franchise would come to a uneventful end speaks a lot about films that are over-ridden with sexual content but still don’t further any intellectual or financial capabilities. The Next 365 Days is a tough brawl between sexual montages and dimly lit discos that boast of the former yet again. The premise of the first two movies sold an alluring fantasy, that of a hard-working independent woman giving up the atrocities of the professional world and skimming through mediocre men to let a mafia rule their lives in exchange for non-vanilla sex.

The Next 365 Days review – spoiled for choice (Ready Steady Cut)

This review of The Next 365 Days is spoiler-free. Sometimes being a film and TV critic means watching softcore Polish erotica at 8 am, and it was while.

At this point, I think I understand what the appeal is about these deeply silly movies, and I also think it’s a waste of time to critique them on the level that you ordinarily would. It felt purely aesthetic at first – Laura gets to have her cake and eat it, more so in this movie than either of the previous two. Weirdly, though, I don’t think this not being a “proper” film is even a criticism at this point. Even the most authoritative of men can’t put business first in this fantasy. It’s easy to dismiss everything to do with 365 Days, on a moral level – they’re still about deeply unhealthy ideas of sex and relationships – and a technical one since they are really atrociously written and plotted if you stop to think about it for even a second. The first was that these films are essentially review-proof, which I pointed out in

The Next 365 Days ending explained on Netflix (digitalspy.com)

365 Days 3 ending explained - Laura and Massimo's story has come to an end, but how does The Next 365 Days wrap up their love story?

The epilogue shows they have a daughter together, while Massimo has given up and agreed to a divorce. Massimo is waiting for Laura back at her hotel, but perhaps as a sign he's maturing, agrees to go back to Sicily to give Laura space. We don't get an answer as to what Laura has decided and the 365 Days movie trilogy ends on this unanswered question. It's a dramatically different ending to the book series that the trilogy has been based on. Massimo is waiting for Laura on the beach, but instead of being full of rage, he's surprisingly philosophical. Olga wants her to run, but Laura says she won't be scared of Massimo. He even tells her that he saved Massimo's life by killing Anna at the end of the sequel "because you love him". Laura is doing her best to move on, even telling Nacho to forget her, but it seems Massimo can't. Unlike Massimo, Nacho is more than happy to let Laura make her own decisions. Together with Olga, Laura heads to Portugal to attend the Lagos fashion fair where she runs into Nacho's sister Amelia. Both disappear into their work, Massimo with his gangster life and Laura with her fashion brand. However, we still had no idea if the couple would manage to repair their relationship, or if Laura would have her head turned by Nacho.

'The Next 365 Days' Review: For Masochists Only – and Not the ... (Variety)

'The Next 365 Days,' the third entry in Netflix's moronic Polish softcore franchise, reduces a proudly yuck premise to a limp love triangle.

Though she’s referring to her deeply uninvolving romantic dilemma, it’s hard not to hear her speaking with the wistful voice of the Netflix accountancy department, as they, and they alone, offer up a prayer that there might be many more “365 Days” to come. Granted, the songs are 100% indistinguishable and all the lyrics appear written by the same algorithm that generates the dialogue: Who knows what to make of a sex scene scored to a gravel-voiced chorus of “Fuck society?” Still, 25! Indeed, the only contributors who don’t appear completely tapped out by the end of “The Next 365 Days” are those with arguably the most reason to be. One wants to ball her in the Mediterranean, the other wants “to meditate with her in Bali.” Tomasz Mandes and Mojca Tirš, co-writing with the books’ author Blanka Lipinska, already distanced “This Day” from the original film’s queasy rapiness, but now seem eager to engineer a full 180. During one would-be dramatic confrontation between Laura and Massimo, it’s hard not to be distracted by the handprints on the glass rooftop railing between them that glint greasily in the lens flare. Nacho, who absconded with Laura, aka “baby girl” (still ick), in episode two and was then revealed to be the scion of another Sicilian gangster clan, attends a post-bloodbath parlay with Massimo.

365 Days 4: Will there be a fourth 365 Days film on Netflix? (PopBuzz)

Drama, drama, drama! While there's no more books in the original novel series to adapt, the movie has a pretty ambiguous ending that could leave the door open ...

At the end of The Next 365 Days, Laura and Massimo reunite on a beach in Sicily. The future of Laura and Massimo in the films, however, is left open-ended. But of course, all of that depends on how many viewers tune in to watch the third film. The third film adapts the story from the third book, with both of them wrapping up Laura and Massimo's relationship in different ways. The third – and currently final – instalment of the series sees Laura (Sieklucka) somehow survive the brutal shooting at the end of the second film, and follows as she and Massimo (Morrone) work through their own issues, on top of her having a spicy affair with Nacho (Susinna) behind Massimo's back. The Next 365 Days (a.k.a 365 Days: Part 3), starring Anna-Maria Sieklucka, Michele Morrone and Simone Susinna, dropped on Netflix on August 19th.

365 Days 3 made major changes to the book it was based on (digitalspy.com)

365 Days 3 book changes - The Next 365 Days has arrived on Netflix and if you read the book, you'll have noticed that the movie was wildly different.

By comparison, the movie is a breeze as none of this happens and it Their relationship is strained (as it is in the movie), but things get much darker in the book. Given the changes in the third movie, it has a more open-ended finale that suggests we're not done with this story yet. Either way, the result is the same as Laura ends up losing her baby as a result of the traumatic event. While living with Nacho, she receives a package which is her dead dog (Massimo bought her a dog as a gift) in a box. Author Blanka Lipińska co-wrote all three movies in the trilogy adaptation of her own novels, so the changes aren't somebody going rogue. Laura eventually gets away with Nacho, they get engaged and in an epilogue, it's revealed that they have a daughter together. She's held against her will by Massimo (again) after she discovers he was the one who killed the dog. [book series by Blanka Lipińska](https://www.amazon.co.uk/365-Days-1/dp/139850596X), but it's now clear to see why the [official announcement](https://about.netflix.com/en/news/netflix-announces-the-start-of-production-for-365-days-part-2-and-part-3) at the start of production on the second and third movies said that they were "loosely based" on the books. Even with this change, the movie could have adapted the book more closer if it chose to, but we should be grateful it didn't. Usually when you've read a book series, you can roughly know what to expect from the movie adaptations. However, the movie ended up doing

The Next 365 Days ending explained: Wait, so what even was that ... (The Tab)

The ending of the third and final movie The Next 365 Days on Netflix explained. What the final scene meant and what end means for Laura, Nacho and Massimo.

The only sort of answer the book does give, is that in that, Laura choses Nacho and Massimo agrees to a divorce. The plot of the third book is completely different to the third film, including Massimo killing Laura’s dog, Laura being an alcoholic, and needing a heart transplant. After saying he’s been left broken from finding out Laura went through the loss of their baby alone, and that she turned to Nacho, Massimo asks her one last time, “Are you back, babygirl?” to which Laura just stands there. Of course, she says Nacho is a good person, and pleads Laura gives him a chance to explain himself. Laura all but tells Nacho she wants to be with him, but needs more time to sort things with Massimo. Laura and Massimo’s story has come to and end, and we’ll no longer have more films where all we do is watch them have sex and occasionally chat about mafia stuff.
