A new piece of Marvel fan art imagines a scenario in which Tom Hardy's Venom dunks on Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man during a basketball game.
Whether Garfield's Spider-Man has a future is yet to be confirmed, as the actor previously shared that he has no plans to return as Spider-Man. Though, if the lead-up to No Way Home taught audiences anything, it is that Garfield's word is not always to be trusted. In fact, the crossover depicted in this new art could hint at a potential live-action situation (though perhaps without the basketball element). After No Way Home's end-credit scene saw Venom learn about Spider-Man during his brief visit to the MCU timeline, the door has most certainly been opened for a crossover, though it remains to be seen whether this will come to fruition. The art, which was shared to Instagram by @Venomhology, imagines an epic basketball game between Venom and Garfield's Spider-Man. The incredibly realistic looking piece sees Venom dunk on Spider-Man, with his huge alien form almost sitting on his opponent's shoulders, as he uses Spider-Man's head as support for his dunk.
