“A C-section was my only option for the safety of my twins,” De La Rosa said. “It’s so insane because when I inquired a midwife for my twin pregnancy, I was turned down by many and found out it’s ILLEGAL in the state of California for a midwife to deliver twins and breech babies and ironically I had both of those regulations!” De La Rosa wrote. “60% of C-Section births are not needed, but 70% of women are having them,” the video’s caption reads.

We can’t care about one and not the rest,” said Palmer, who pointed out that it costs $100,000 to put up a prisoner at the county jail for a year. Gavin Newsom is sitting on billions of dollars, but he can’t help us with these beds. “Yet we’re doing away with 40 treatment beds for women? Palmer and her small army of like-minded advocates have deluged Gov. Gavin Newsom with emails, pleading for his intercession, to no avail. Santa Rosa's Luther Burbank Savings Q2 earnings dip nearly 2 ... (North Bay Business Journal)

The annual rise in net income positions the Santa Rosa-based bank for future growth and provides “some protection for the next eventual economic downturn,” ...

Non-interest income came in as $362,000 for the second quarter of 2022. Another financial barometer, deposits — which have surged during the pandemic — totaled $5.66 billion for the three months ended June 30. Total loans added up to $6.63 billion, in contrast to $6.36 billion for the previous quarter ending March 31. Net interest income takes into account the difference between the revenue generated from interest-bearing assets and the costs of servicing liabilities. The Santa Rosa-based bank posted $22.94 million in earnings for the three months ended March 31. The latter is important for Luther Burbank, given its portfolio is stacked with loans on multifamily properties.
