A "data dump" supposedly revealed the contents of an iCloud account associated with an iPhone and iPad owned by U.S. President Joe Biden's son, Hunter.
In the past, there have been no shortage of rumors surrounding Hunter’s personal activities, included alleged drug use and videos with sexual activity. (For example, earlier today we debunked a doctored photograph unrelated to the 4chan leak that was apparently being circulated as a “counter-meme” to discredit that leak. The thread also contained other names and various unconfirmed conspiracy theories about several different figures. At this stage, we advise readers to take individual rumors and memes that appear to be blooming out of this alleged hack with a grain of salt. The 4chan thread was first posted around July 8 on the /pol/ board on the website, a board named “Politically Incorrect.” The title of the 4chan thread was, “Hunter Biden offline iPhone Backup.” The post and its comments included various unverified allegations, some of which were lurid. The 4chan message board is abuzz with unverified claims that Hunter Biden’s iCloud account was hacked and compromised, supposedly making available various files from an iPhone and an iPad belonging to the son of U.S. President Joe Biden.
Another day, another deeply compromising story about America's first son. This weekend, a hacker on the 4chan messageboard claimed to have cracked Hunter…
Cockburn isn’t one to traffic in conspiracy theory — but it does strike him as rather odd that two weeks before the presidential election, damaging information about Hunter was snuffed out of circulation… That was not the case: Hunter left his laptop in a Delaware repair shop, forgot about it — and it was eventually passed to reporters by Republican operatives. Yet the videos and photos posted on 4chan on Saturday are undoubtedly and unequivocally hacked — and what’s more, screenshots of messages in the leak appear to contain the personal cell phone numbers of the president, the first lady and several other members of the Biden family.
A 4Chan user claims to have hacked and leaked the contents of the President's son's iCloud.
Two years later, “Hunter Biden’s laptop” remains a shorthand among Trump sycophants to describe nefarious—but completely unproven—actions by the president. This leak comes two years after the New York Post claimed to have obtained a copy of Hunter Biden’s laptop hard drive, which he left at a Delaware repair shop. “But it’s pretty obvious that the materials that we’ve looked at are real,” he added, echoing a view shared across Trumpworld in recent days.
"At this time we are not in a position to make public comments on potential investigative actions," Secret Service spokesperson Anthony Guglielmi said.
After a 4Chan user claimed to have access to sensitive videos and images from Hunter Biden's iCloud account, search and social media platforms have ...
“There is no manual triggering involved ... Our automated search systems don’t understand the political ideology of content, and it’s not a ranking factor for search results.” “As the most powerful arbiter of information online in the US, Google has a responsibility to prioritize high-quality information,” Dreyfuss said. When the story was first released in 2020 — just a month before the presidential election — Facebook and Twitter both restricted sharing of the URL on the platforms, citing the need to limit the spread of potentially false information. Twitter has a policy that prohibits the sharing of materials obtained by hacking, and while the hashtag #HunterBiden was listed as trending at the start of the week, it no longer seemed to be a visible trending topic on Tuesday afternoon. Meanwhile, the Secret Service said on Monday evening that it was aware of the alleged hack but was “not in a position to make public comments on potential investigative actions.” Over the weekend, users of 4Chan’s /pol/ messageboard were whipped into a frenzy of excitement by one poster claiming to have hacked into Hunter Biden’s phone.
An alleged hack into the iCloud account of U.S. President Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden, over the weekend, exposed a cache of inappropriate content,...
Meanwhile, the U.S. Secret Service said on Monday that they are "aware" of the alleged Hunter Biden iCloud hack. The First Son allegedly spent $30,000 in five months for prostitutes and transported them across state lines. It was also claimed that Hunter Biden recorded his father on the phone by the name "Pedo Peter."
Following the alleged hacking of Hunter Biden's iCloud account, a picture was passed around that showed a man on a couch surrounded by five young girls.
For further reading, we previously reported on another photograph that supposedly came out of the iCloud story. At this stage, we advise readers to take individual rumors and memes that appear to be blooming out of this alleged hack with a grain of salt. However, in truth, there was no evidence that the picture showed Biden’s son, nor did any data point to the photograph having come from a recent alleged iCloud account hack. Additionally, we noticed that at least one conspiratorial tweet about the miscaptioned picture that was posted by @WEFareCriminals also disappeared. Data from Google Trends showed that some users may have been looking for more information about this particular photograph with queries about sex trafficking and prostitution. According to social media posts, the image was recently leaked as part of a data dump after a 4chan message board user allegedly hacked Hunter Biden’s iCloud account.
