Cameron Diaz To Come Out Of Retirement, Star With Jamie Foxx In ... (Game Rant)

Jamie Foxx confirmed that Cameron Diaz will return to show business to co-star in his upcoming Netflix movie titled Back in Action.

She had every right to retire just as she had every right to come back if and when she felt it was time. There's no telling if Diaz will be a lead in the film or if she will have a small cameo in it. When George Lucas returned to filmmaking to make the Star Wars prequels, it was clear from those movies that he was a little rusty, to say the least. This will be the third time Foxx and Diaz have worked together on a movie, as they appeared together both in Annie in 2014 and Any Given Sunday in 1999. If Diaz needed some time to take a breather from show business, she has every right to do so because that life isn't as glamorous as it looks. Foxx used Brady and his knowledge of un-retiring to persuade Diaz to do the same for her show business career.

Cameron Diaz was 'encouraged' to return to acting by husband Benji Madden, it has been claimed.

‘When you do something at a really high level for a long period of time, when you’re the person that is delivering one thing, you’re the person on the screen, all parts of you that isn’t that has to sort of be handed off to other people,’ she said on his Hart to Heart podcast. During a chat with Kevin Hart, Cameron explained her decision to step out of the spotlight, and admitted that her stints on the big screen had prevented her from managing other parts of her life. According to reports, her husband was spurring her on behind the scenes, and has been the biggest cheerleader behind her decision.

And so I implore you to read my review of Fire of Love from its premiere at Sundance. It’s a film that deserves everyone’s attention. I’m stocking up the bomb shelter, buying Costco out of toilet paper, and filling my bathtub with water—all the things my parents taught me to do to weather an emergency. I go to the edge of the bed in the charming British cottage I did a house swap for and kneel. So I rejoiced as though I’d been to heaven and seen God himself when the news broke from the most reputable source in the industry—Jamie Foxx’s Twitter account—that Diaz is “un-retiring” and apparently will start production with him on a Netflix movie later this year. Time has been good to her reputation; especially in her absence, there’s been a fonder appreciation for her greatest performances. It’s an incredible skill to be able to carry action blockbusters, raunchy comedies, tear-jerkers, and my most cherished genre of film: Ones that are perfect for watching on airplanes. Their own video documentation provides the crux of Sara Dosa’s Fire of Love, an astonishing achievement considering how many technological advances there have been in the 30 years since their death. My Best Friend’s Wedding. My apologies to Kim Basinger, but this was a perfect performance.) Diaz has the kind of silver-screen magnetism that warranted the career and fame she had. You can, like me, have a standing Friday night date at your local cinema to see Top Gun: Maverick again. By the end, they all agreed. This is my morning ritual.
