New Roads house fire shuts down False River Road (WAFB)

Fire officials say they have temporarily shut down False River Road as they work to put out a house fire in the 9000 block.

Two Baton Rouge Fire Department trucks are covering Point Coupee Parish while its fire districts are working to get this fire under control. According to Point Coupee Fire District 5, all Point Coupee fire districts are responding to the multi-story house fire, as well as firefighters from West Feliciana and Zachary. BATON ROUGE, La. The house had to provide privacy and intimacy for a family of four while being able to open, entertain, host, and grow. The house is broken into a series of simple forms that step across the sloping site, allowing the individual to move between and experience the key material en masse. The dusty pink and red tones of the brick, with the blurring of a flush-struck mortar, reference the client’s heritage while providing the physical and conceptual backbone of the new home.
