RYAN Peniston has secured another stunning victory, beating French Open quarter-finalist Holger Rune in a three set tussle at Eastbourne.

Rune is currently ranked 28 in the world and is also a former world number one junior. "Holger's a man in form and he did well at the French Open but I'm happy with how I fought after losing the first set and it was good to pull through in end." But the 26-year-old now clearly has an eye for an upset and, despite losing the first set to number eight seed Rune 6-4, he battled back to win the second on a tie-break before winning the deciding set 6-1.
