Angel Olsen has dropped a cover of Bob Dylan's 'One Too Many Mornings' from the 'Shining GIrls' - proceeds go to Everytown for Gun Safety.

- R.E.M. - Sunspots “One Too Many Mornings,” released on Dylan’s 1964 album “The Times They Are a-Changin’,” is one of the most-covered songs in his formidable catalog, with versions ranging from Burl Ives and Joan Baez to David Gray and Johnny Cash.

Proceeds from the song will benefit the gun-control nonprofit Everytown for Gun Safety.

Both the track and soundtrack are produced by Claudia Sarne. Listen to Olsen’s version of “One Too Many Mornings” below. Big Time is the follow-up to Olsen’s 2021 covers EP Aisles and 2020’s Whole New Mess—a counterpart to 2019’s All Mirrors. This summer Olsen will tour with Sharon Van Etten and Julien Baker. Olsen will be donating proceeds from her streaming royalties of “One Too Many Mornings” to the gun-control nonprofit Everytown for Gun Safety.

Leaning into a finger-picked electric guitar line and jaw-dropping harmonies, Olsen takes the melancholic track and makes it sound even more nostalgic and devastating.
