The Untold Truth Of Hillary Clinton (The List)

In 2016, she entered the race to become the Democratic presidential nominee and won. However, in the 2016 election, she lost to Republican nominee Donald Trump.

Her playlist included "Respect" by Aretha Franklin, "Beautiful Day" by U2, "Take It to the Limit" by The Eagles, and "Hey Jude" by The Beatles. She also mentioned liking The Rolling Stones as well as Motown and classical music. In 2016, Clinton once again name dropped The Beatles. "I am, and always will be, a Beatles fan," she told Us Weekly. It sounds like, while Clinton does have eclectic musical tastes, at heart, she's just a diehard Beatles fan girl. In fact, the mother-daughter feminist duo even wrote a book together called "The Book of Gutsy Women" about a series of incredible, brave women throughout history. I did what I was expected to do" (via The New York Times)." Later, Clinton also made a statement about Arafat's speech, saying she "condemned" the anti-Israel sentiment and thought her remarks had been "outrageous." In her book "What Happened," Clinton mentioned that doing "alternate nostril breathing," a common yoga breathing technique, had helped her stay centered after the crushing loss. But, when asked by an interviewer for The New York Times in 2014 about her favorite book ever, Clinton said it was "The Brothers Kalamazoo" by Russian author Fodor Dostoyevsky, explaining that she had always remembered it after reading it years earlier. As her biographer, Carl Bernstein, explains in "A Woman in Charge," after a long struggle, the couple eventually arranged to see a fertility specialist in 1979. Just like the rest of us, Hillary Clinton has a few idiosyncrasies — especially when it comes to food. Even though Clinton is a self-professed terrible singer, she still gathered the courage to sing "Lean On Me" during a cameo on " Saturday Night Live" alongside Kate McKinnon, who famously played Clinton on the show. "I can't carry a tune for the life of me," she told Us Weekly. "My choir teacher used to ask me to mouth the words." In 2016, she entered the race to become the Democratic presidential nominee and won. She first came into prominence as the first lady when her husband, Bill Clinton, was elected to the U.S. presidency in 1993.

FBI wrongly told its agents Trump-Russia collusion claims had come ... (New York Post)

Hillary Clinton campaign attorney Michael Sussmann fell under scrutiny for lying to the FBI.

Sussmann said he was providing the information on his own when, according to prosecutors, he was working on behalf of the Clinton campaign and another client, tech executive Rodney Joffe, who told him about the bank. During cross examination, Bosworth repeatedly tried to poke holes in Gaynor’s previous statements to investigators, highlighting a number of instances in which the agent testified that he knew Sussmann was acting on behalf of the Democratic National Committee — even conflating the attorney and the DNC as the source of the information in his testimony before a grand jury. In one Oct. 3, 2016, email, agent Heide wrote to Gaynor, “We really want to interview the source of all this information. Gaynor added that had he known the source was motivated by politics or someone with a business interest that overlapped with the bureau, he may not have ever volunteered to act as a point person at agency headquarters. On Monday, he said he may have come to a different conclusion about the hold hindering the investigation if he had known Sussmann was acting as an attorney for the Clinton campaign when he turned over the information. The error was seized on by Sussmann’s defense attorney Michael Bosworth, who grilled Sands about whether Heide had lied to her – or if someone had lied to him about the source of the material.

Again: There's no evidence Hillary Clinton triggered the Russia probe (The Washington Post)

It was also cited as part of a warrant application to surveil Carter Page, the Trump adviser who had previously been a Russian intelligence target. We must of course also acknowledge the dossier of allegations compiled by former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele. Steele was working for a firm hired by Sussman’s law firm, and Trump’s allies have long claimed that his dossier (now largely debunked) was instrumental as a trigger for the Russia investigation. Perhaps there was a ploy to use contrived information to trigger an FBI investigation of Trump, as Durham appears to hope to prove. Law enforcement also understood that Russia was continuing to try to influence the election, publishing a warning in early October about possible threats to state elections systems. It’s also that this is the second attempt by Trump sympathizers to do so. In June, The Post published a lengthy look at what was and wasn’t known about Trump’s business interests in Russia, a report that took on a different appearance after reports that Trump allies had softened anti-Russia language in the Republican Party’s 2016 platform. In mid-June 2016, The Washington Post reported that Russian hackers were believed to have accessed the network of the Democratic National Committee. Material from that hack was published by WikiLeaks the following month, shortly before the Democratic convention. Special counsel John Durham — appointed by Trump Attorney General William P. Barr to investigate the origins of the Russia probe, which so annoyed the then-president — appears to be hoping to bolster the idea elevated by the Journal: that Clinton was a primary trigger for allegations about Trump and Russia. The first is that it was debunked almost immediately, including by me. There was no real evidence that anything suspicious or election-related was afoot, and there were lots of reasons to think that the communications were an innocuous artifact of automated systems. The trigger for the editorial was testimony from Clinton’s 2016 campaign manager, Robby Mook, on Friday as part of a criminal trial targeting a lawyer who worked for a firm hired by the campaign. There are two important things to recognize about the idea that a Trump Organization server was communicating in an unusual way with that bank.

'Hannity' on testimony Clinton approved Trump-Russia leak (Fox News)

Guests: Gregg Jarrett, Jonathan Turley, John Concha, Rachel Campos-Duffy, Tammy Bruce, Leo Terrell, Bill Melugin, Sara Carter, Tom Homan.

I think Bill Melugin's report was excellent, but I think what we're going to see is all those people that were in Mexico are going to be flooding to come across the border and I know Tom Homan has talked about this in the past, and I'm sure -- I'm sure that that is going to be the case in the upcoming days. BRUCE: Well, it is and it's because that communication and I hope like the three of us have it, you have people in business who can have it. The interesting thing about the polls is and I think this is also they're doing it because they so underestimate the American people and have such contempt for them is that 33 percent of -- only 33 percent of Democrats, only three out of every Democrats think the country is on the right track. And what the communication is, that there is you might not have liked everything he said but just like all of us, when you really believe in what you're doing, when you have a passion for making a difference, you can speak extemporaneously for two hours at a rally with 50,000 people and convey those ideas. In order to be this wrong all the time it has to be deliberate. The Hispanic numbers have absolutely created they can't ignore it anymore, and the Hunter Biden story is actually a story with Hispanics. I know everyone's focusing on the economy and jobs and, of course, that's a big thing with Hispanics. But Hispanics also know what shamelessly corrupt government looks like. What a gift to John Durham and the only question now is what did Hillary Clinton know, Jason, and when did she know it? This is the same courthouse I should say in D.C. and I think people look at those two trials and they say wow this is a really striking and fairly glaring difference. Remember, the Hunter laptop scandal is also a media scandal, big tech, left-wing journalists and all their allies in between colluded to censor the story, all to protect you guessed it Democrats. And finally, and he's going to claim I think that the FBI figured out his lie so if they knew, it was a lie, how can that be a genuine lie under the law. Is he -- is he the right person with the right message? It's fundamental in trying cases never call a witness to the stand that only helps you a little bit because the downside of hurting you tremendously is quite severe.

At 81, Clinton occasionally needs to sit down, but his band more than carry him with musicianship that straddles acid-rock, jazz and more.

A few weeks shy of his 81st birthday, Clinton is on the stage again, clad in sequinned trousers, a sailor’s hat with a huge eye on it and something that looks like an ancient Egyptian collar made out of holographic material – an outfit that may well constitute George Clinton’s idea of dressing down in a manner befitting his advanced years. At one point, a singer reappears both wielding a guitar and stripped to his underpants.

The Stunning Transformation Of Hillary Clinton (The List)

Hillary Clinton, former first lady, former U.S. secretary of state, and 2016 Democratic presidential nominee, has gone through quite the transformation.

As noted by History, Hillary accepted the Democratic party's nomination for the presidency in a historic moment, inciting the messages that her mother told her when she was young. Going on to win the presidency in a historic election, Obama transformed the White House into the home of the first Black president in our nation's history. As noted by ABC News, Bill made the then-shocking decision to put his wife and the country's new first lady, Hillary Clinton, in charge of overhauling the country's healthcare infrastructure — not a small order. While the couple remained married, ABC News noted that Hillary emerged from the scandal with her political aspirations at the center of her public life, doing her best to leave the drama behind. During the 1992 campaign, Hillary said that her dedication was the result of both professional and personal goals. Hillary Rodham, of course, became Hillary Rodham Clinton, and the brilliant legal mind continued to rise the ranks of the professional world. Bill reportedly had a wandering eye, and when it hit the headlines that a singer by the name of Gennifer Flowers claimed to be Bill's longtime mistress, the news and the campaign turned to Hillary to clear things up. The New York Times noted that when Bill became governor of Arkansas in 1979, Hillary was made a full partner at Rose — an extremely impressive feat. So where was Bill Clinton throughout Hillary Rodham's rise to the top of the legal world? Wellesley detailed that Hillary was the president of the Young Republicans Club (yes, you read that correctly) from 1966 to 1967. And in her own right, Hillary — former first lady, former U.S. secretary of state, and 2016 Democratic presidential nominee — has gone through quite the transformation. Ushering in a new era of youth, vitality, and internet savviness to the White House, the Clintons were seen as nothing short of a power couple who embarked on a political dynasty all their own.
