Patryk Dudek and Jack Holder complete the order in third and fourth. Mikkel Michelsen blasted on to his win with a tasty battle between Leon Madsen and Fredrik Lindgren for second, with Madsen claiming the second. Gate 3 seems to be the best in Croatia. Maciej Janowski stormed off to a win. It was a photo finish between Bewley and Zmarzlik, with the former taking second place and Zmarzlik in third. Madsen took the win, Holder in second and Bewley took the last point in third. Janowski and Thomsen battled for the win with Janowski taking the win, putting him the semi-finals already. Lindgren followed in second, Przedpelski in third and Fricke last across the line. Doyle pushed on in lap 3 and went on to claim the win. Thomsen claims the win with Janowski coming in second and following him to the final. Zmarzlik held off Lambert for second and the latter had to settle for third. Zmarzlik and Michelsen are the next pair through to the final. Janowski in second, Michelsen third and Thomsen in fourth.
Bartosz Zmarzlik's 2022 Speedway Grand Prix season got off with a bang as he stormed to the top of the qualifying standings at the FIM Croatian Speedway GP.
Tai Woffinden had a disappointing time. In his debut qualifying, the young Brit put himself up to second, giving him a good advantage going into tonight's race. Early in the session, Zmarzlik set a speedy time of 14.339, which no one could get close to.

The Brit could only get 14th in qualifying, and his heats didnโt go much better. Elsewhere, Robert Lambert got off to a strong start, winning his first two heats. Zmarzlik bolted out of his gate once the tape was down and never looked back, cruising to victory. Michelsen was able to continue, and all four riders took to the track for four final laps. However, Zmarzlik wasnโt lurking too far behind, sitting in second place on 12. Zmarzlik was already the favourite coming into the race weekend after his spectacular performance in last season, which saw the Polish rider come second overall and narrowly missing out on a third successive world title.
