BRIGITTE Macron has spoken out after her husband Emmanuel Macron's re-election, saying it is 'such a great honour'.

Speaking on France 2 she expressed "an immense emotion and a great honour". More than an hour after the official announcement of Mr Macron's victory, the president met his supporters on the Champ de Mars to celebrate his victory with his wife. "I know that we can do it and I know we are extraordinary. Brigitte Macron addressed the crowds and said: "France is the most beautiful country in the world, the problem is that we don't always know it."
