Votikova’s nightmare continued after the break when she failed to control the ball amid a mix-up with her defenders, allowing Macario to tap in from point-blank range five minutes into the second half. Hegerberg’s soft first touch to collect a woeful goal kick by Votikova allowed her to set up Macario with a delightful through pass for Lyon’s second goal in the 34th. Catarina Macario’s double and a penalty by Wendie Renard, who became the first player to make 100 appearances in the competition, gave the seven-times champions a slight edge ahead of the return leg in Paris next Saturday.

Dudek made up for her part in the blunder by coolly slotting home a penalty kick in the 58th minute, after a VAR check determined that the ball was handled inside the area by a Lyon defender. Things went from bad to worse for the goalkeeper in the second half, as Macario benefitted from another Votíková blunder in the 50th minute. PSG's record-tying 10th French title has bittersweet taste (Rock Hill Herald)

Paris Saint-Germain has won a record-tying 10th French league title but many supporters aren't happy.

Supporters heavily booed PSG during a 3-0 win over Bordeaux in March, just a few days after PSG lost to Real Madrid 3-1 in the second leg of their last 16 tie. Wijnaldum has made only 17 starts in the club's 34 league games. The Argentine coach led PSG to a runner-up finish last season after replacing Thomas Tuchel in the winter. But his man-management skills contributed to maintaining a certain unity in the dressing room despite cliques and huge egos. Neymar faced fitness issues at the start of the season then was sidelined by an ankle injury for more than two months. Kylian Mbappe didn't have his shooting boots on against Lens, but he has been the driving force behind PSG’s latest title, leading the league with 22 goals and 14 assists.

PSG Feminine have been hit by controversy off the pitch yet are still in with a fighting chance of reaching the Champions League final.

It is a real appeal to the Paris people that I am making: we will need everyone to overturn this match and seek qualification.” It is understood Hamraoui has not faced any punishment from the club and the head coach, Didier Olle-Nicolle, will speak to the players on Monday morning. We can hate each other outside but on the field, we have to manage to win. Two months after the 6-1 defeat, PSG knocked Lyon out of the French Cup round of 16 in January. Hamraoui played the full 90 minutes and Diallo came on as a late substitute. Lyon are, however, now five points clear in the league and both teams have their eyes set on a Champions League final. Lyon had long reigned supreme on the domestic and international stage, winning a record 14 league and seven Champions League titles.

PSG vs. Lens live score, updates, highlights & lineups as Messi ... (Sporting News)

PSG can beat Marseille to the French Ligue 1 title when Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, Neymar & Co. face high-flying Lens at the Parc des Princes.

10th min.: PSG have a chance to swing a cross in from a free-kick near the penalty area on the left. The major news for PSG is the potential return to the starting XI of Neymar — he missed the Angers game through a ban — and Messi, sidelined for that match by an Achilles tendon injury. A foul is adjudged to have taken place as the delivery soars into the sky, and Lens are awarded a free-kick. They're attacking from right to left in the first half tonight as they look to hold up PSG's title party. The wideman shows his blistering pace to race clear on the right and enter the penalty area. Mbappe then almost finds space inside the penalty area with a delicate touch, but can't get a clear sight of goal. His final touch on the run is perhaps a little heavy, giving him little choice but to shoot from a fairly acute angle, rather than cross for a teammate. The seventh-placed side in Ligue 1 continue to pose a threat. Then Kimpembe tries a shot from outside the danger zone in a central area, and Danso blocks it away. PSG start on the front foot, perhaps suggesting that Pochettino has urged them to right the wrongs of the first half during the next 45 minutes. 37th min.: A PSG corner from their left comes to nothing. Lens still posed a clear threat in the closing stages.

Paris Saint-Germain secured a record equalling 10th Ligue 1 title after a 1-1 draw against Lens but many fans had already left.

Leipzig had beaten them on Wednesday by the same score thanks to Emil Forsberg’s stoppage-time winner. Danso picked up a second yellow card for a rough tackle on Neymar in the 57th minute. Inter’s fourth successive league win moved them on to 72 points from 33 matches, one ahead of Milan. Roma stay fifth on 58 points. In Germany, Bayern Munich sealed their 10th Bundesliga title in succession by beating Borussia Dortmund 2-1. Fans from the Boulogne and Auteuil stands did not show their support once again despite the team having won their previous four games, scoring 16 goals during that run. PSG equalled the record set by Saint-Étienne, who won 10 top flight titles between 1957 and 1981.

Simply put, a Ligue 1 title is not enough to remedy this team and club's current problems and the fans will not simply accept further silverware earned at low gear in exchange for silence. "We have things to look at and think about," Leonardo said. PSG are the ones who have set the high expectations which this team is now being judged against and should not feel hard done by. The atmosphere is a shame, but soccer is our passion and we will try to enjoy it. "It hurts to not win a title," added captain Marquinhos to Canal+. We did not win the last one and it hurt. As has often been the case this campaign, individual brilliance has papered over significant cracks and the Argentine's second-half strike disguised a mediocre overall display that did not merit anything more than the point it earned.
