"Thor: Love and Thunder" finally revealed its first trailer on Monday, April 18, ahead of the Marvel film's release on July 8.
One aspect of the trailer that fans enjoyed was how close the film seems to be to the original comics, particularly with one shot that featured a fallen Falligar the Behemoth. The cracked hammer is seen being drawn to Jane's hand as she appeared to face off against Thor in battle, and fans may recognize that the damage to the weapon was a result of Thor's sister Hela breaking it in Thor: Ragnarok. King Valkyrie is shown in the trailer briefly in a scene where she looks bored as she sits in on a council meeting. The trailer opens with Thor reflecting on his life and as he does this the character is shown running through a forest, changing from boy to man. As well as teasing what is in store for Thor, the trailer also showed a number of other exciting moments for fans to enjoy. The first trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder was released on Monday, April 18, giving fans a glimpse at what's to come in the God of Thunder's fourth solo film.
