Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, the OnePlus 10 Pro sports 8/12GB of LPDDR5 memory and 128/256GB of built-in storage. Finally, the 8MP telephoto lens is capable of 3.3x optical zoom and has OIS. There’s a 32MP selfie camera with EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) that is located in the punch-hole cutout on the display. What are your thoughts on the new OnePlus 10 Pro? March 31st: Almost three months after its launch in China the OnePlus 10 Pro has finally been officially unveiled in western markets with prices starting from a reasonable $ /£799 for the base model. Pre-orders are now live on the OnePlus Store, Amazon, and Best Buy if you want to get a set of OnePlus Buds Z2 earbuds bundled in at no extra cost. The OnePlus 10 Pro has finally been unveiled for western markets during a video presentation earlier today, with the less said about that the better.

OnePlus 10 Pro Smartphone Review: Making the Right Kind of ... (PetaPixel)

The OnePlus 10 Pro's camera array is the centerpiece that illustrates how much it wants to be among the best you can get your hands on.

Its collaboration with Hasselblad comes through more with the 10 Pro, suggesting more is to come. The OnePlus 9 Pro is still around as a less expensive alternative that will feel very similar to this device. The Google Pixel 6 Pro isn’t as deep in its feature set, but its computation software is outstanding, and a big reason why it’s among the best out there. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: I’d like to see OnePlus place some of the control in users’ hands. That marginal improvement is fine when compared to the same brand from a year ago, but I didn’t see enough from nighttime output to suggest OnePlus overtakes competitors when shooting at night. A previous software update brought the same access to the 9 Pro, so there’s no exclusivity here, but it’s still nice to get both access and improved output. The 150-degree mode, while cool on its own, isn’t yet a game-changer, and shooting with that wide a field of view isn’t always practical. As always, though, the exposure slider is vitally important to help the cause for the simple fact the camera app often skews exposure a little brighter every time. Despite the bigger bump in the back, OnePlus ditched the 2-megapixel monochrome camera it brought into the 9 Pro, which is probably for the best. The 48-megapixel mode is a separate option within the interface. In many ways, OnePlus — perhaps in coordination with Hasselblad — chose to harmonize the three rear cameras as much as possible. On the other, partnering with Hasselblad for camera output was to serve notice that OnePlus was serious about competing with the best.

Bright, 120-Hz screen. OK battery life with fast wired and wireless charging. Great performance. Solid camera system for photos and video. Customizable, simple ...

Speed like that is handy when you're about to head out but realize the phone's low on power. OnePlus says the screen can quickly adjust from 120 Hz to 1 Hz based on the type of content on the screen, which helps conserve battery life. Sure, it's no Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, but use it one-handed and you'll be shimmying this phone up and down your palm as you try to reach the top of the screen. The AMOLED screen is one of the highlights here. Before diving into the details, it's worth noting that the OnePlus 10 Pro is the only flagship offering from OnePlus this year. If you made me choose from the current crop of flagship Android smartphones, the new OnePlus 10 Pro wouldn't be my first or second choice.

OnePlus 10 Pro review: settling in (The Verge)

The OnePlus 10 Pro is a phone that's easy to like, with a tall 6.7-inch screen; three rear cameras, including a telephoto; fast charging with an included ...

This feels like a device that knows what it is and who it’s for, more so than the 9 and 9 Pro. But it’s tough to recommend this phone when the Pixel 6 Pro is right there, at the same price, with full 5G support on every carrier and a much better camera system. There are a lot of things I like about the OnePlus 10 Pro, starting with the day-to-day experience of using the phone. I hope OnePlus will put a little more effort into the next iteration of its camera rather than relying so much on its Hasselblad partnership to do the leg work. It got off to a rough start when it was released for the 9 and 9 Pro, but the launch bugs seem to have been resolved, and I haven’t noticed any significant issues. There’s more good news on the battery front: the OnePlus 10 Pro supports fast charging, and there’s a fast charger provided right in the box. The images I’ve taken with the 10 Pro are good, and the ultrawide camera is still better than most, but I can’t say I’m impressed otherwise. In the US, the phone supports 65W charging, while other regions can charge at up to 80W. OnePlus says that this only accounts for a two-minute difference in the total time it takes to charge the phone, and realistically, 65W is plenty fast — just over 30 minutes to bring the battery from 0 to 100 percent. But if you do need to top the battery off, you’ll be able to do so quickly and without having to spend another $30–$50 to get a fast charger. With a 6.7-inch screen, the OnePlus 10 Pro is no doubt a big phone. This year, OnePlus has sharpened its vision of a legitimate flagship phone to challenge the big brands, and the result is a sophisticated, sleek device. The 10 Pro includes a big 5,000mAh battery that, in my experience, easily gets me through a day of moderate (and even some heavy) use. Those are some major considerations, and they keep me from freely recommending the 10 Pro to just anyone looking for a premium Android phone.

OnePlus 10 Pro Review: Great Android Phone Needs a Few Tweaks (CNET)

Its good looks, competitive price and solid all-round performance highlight the 10 Pro. But a few carrier restrictions could confuse its value.

That's still incredibly fast and allows you to give it a quick boost if needed before you head out for the evening, safe in the knowledge you'll have enough battery to call a cab home after a few beers. Yet due to features that are exclusive to T-Mobile, especially water resistance and 5G support for now, many people might be better off with the Pixel simply for its wider compatibility. Providing the juice is a capacious 5,000mAh battery, which thanks to the various performance improvements will comfortably allow for a full day of mixed use. Both provide fast speeds and show off the best of Android 12. It breezed through things like RAW photo editing and video streaming and demanding games like Asphalt 9 or PUBG played beautifully smoothly even with the settings cranked to the max. Powering the phone is Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, along with 12GB of RAM on my UK review model, although US versions will have a maximum of 8GB. This combo put in some great scores in our various benchmark tests. Its main camera is excellent for most daytime scenes however and it'll serve you well if photography is important but maybe not the sole reason you're buying a phone. Of course if zoom is a priority for you, no phone comes close to the whopping 10x optical zoom offered by the Galaxy S22 Ultra. It's similar to what Apple does with its ProRAW mode and it works well here if you're the sort of person who likes editing your images later on. OnePlus cameras have always been decent, but they've typically not done enough to compete with the best phones around. The OnePlus 10 Pro is unquestionably the most premium phone the company has ever made. You'll also find a fingerprint scanner invisibly hidden beneath the display which works quickly and accurately most of the time.

The OnePlus 10 Pro puts a second-generation Hasselblad camera ... (The Dallas Morning News)

If you're an Android phone manufacturer and your name isn't Samsung, Google or Motorola, you have to make a splash in other ways to get attention.

The camera application has a mode called Hasselblad Pro that can be used with all three cameras. The 50-megapixel ultrawide camera has a 150-degree field of view that captures some interesting shots. RAW is not a format many people use. OnePlus really wants the 10 Pro to stand out as a smartphone with top-tier cameras, and it has succeeded. Cons: International versions of the 10 Pro have more RAM and storage. OnePlus isn’t a brand you see advertising on TV like Apple and Samsung, but if you are not hung up on names, the 10 Pro will not disappoint. The cameras in the 10 Pro are on par with Apple and Samsung’s best offerings. The OnePlus 10 Pro is available in one configuration, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, and it will cost $899. The OnePlus 10 Pro has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hertz dynamic refresh rate that can adjust the screen refresh rate between 1 and 120 times per second, as needed. The OnePlus 10 Pro has a Movie mode that allows the shooter to adjust ISO, shutter speed and white balance before and during filming. Dimensions of the 10 Pro are 6.4 by 2.9 by 0.33 inches, and it weighs 7.09 ounces. The three Hasselblad cameras on the OnePlus 10 Pro include wide angle, ultra-wide and telephoto, and they are capable of shooting in 10-bit color.

The OnePlus 10 Pro at $899 is an outstanding value that for the right buyer is the best phone available today. If you use your phone for the occasional snapshot but are primarily concerned with performance, display and battery life, it would be hard for me to recommend anything other than the OnePlus 10 Pro to you. The OnePlus 10 Pro features dual stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos support. With that basic mixed usage, the OnePlus 10 Pro was never close to falling asleep before I did, with typically roughly 20-25% remaining at the end of the day. The OnePlus 10 Pro did everything I asked of it, and I never felt like it was slow or lagging in use. Our Adobe Premiere Rush test has the phone convert a 4K video to 1080p; the OnePlus 10 Pro finished in one minute and two seconds. The OnePlus 10 Pro has strong video options with up to 8K at 24fps or 4K at up to 120fps from the primary sensor. The Geekbench 5 score for the OnePlus 10 Pro is solid among the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1-powered Android flagships this year, with a multicore score of 3,482. Overall the OnePlus 10 Pro display is outstanding, with HDR support and color enhancement that makes everything you view on it look fantastic. Read on to find out if the OnePlus 10 Pro is the best choice for you. Our Delta-E color accuracy test results (lower is better) went even better for the OnePlus 10 Pro at 0.23 in its Natural setting. While the iPhone 13 Pro has to tap out there, the Android phones boast a Vivid mode that lets the OnePlus 10 Pro jump to 123%, while the Galaxy S22+ remains the clear front runner at 150.2%.

OnePlus 10 Pro review: The best Android phone for the money (Tom's Guide)

The OnePlus 10 Pro is sleek, powerful, and equipped with the best cameras OnePlus has ever made. And the price makes all of this even sweeter.

The OnePlus 10 Pro is my new favorite Android phone. While I think the iPhone 13 Pro Max and Pixel 6 Pro are stronger camera phones overall, the OnePlus 10 Pro cameras are not an afterthought. The OnePlus 10 Pro wowed me with its battery life, both in our testing and in my usage. OnePlus 10 Pro I don’t think the OnePlus 10 Pro’s 8MP telephoto sensor is up to the task against the likes of the Galaxy S22 Ultra and Pixel 6 Pro. Neither the OnePlus 10 Pro nor the Galaxy S22 Ultra fared very well here, but I give the nod to Samsung. The carbon fiber detailing on the helmet looks a lot crisper in the S22 Ultra’s image, though OnePlus got the red stripe on the top of the helmet to look richer. In practice, I like how the color calibration on the OnePlus 10 Pro works. But in the end, I give this one to the OnePlus 10 Pro. Here is how the OnePlus 10 Pro stacks up against the Galaxy S22 Ultra in our display testing. I absolutely love watching videos and playing games on the OnePlus 10 Pro display. The OnePlus 10 Pro is the best handset I’ve ever seen from OnePlus, and it’s definitely a strong contender for the best Android phone. Overall, the OnePlus 10 Pro feels very nice to hold.

OnePlus 10 Pro corrects the OnePlus 9 Pro's biggest mistake (Tom's Guide)

As good as the OnePlus 9 Pro was, last year's OnePlus flagship simply cost too much. The OnePlus 10 Pro looks to correct that.

The OnePlus 10 Pro faces some formidable competition from other devices. In other categories, though — such as performance and battery life — the OnePlus 10 Pro is a more appealing option. The OnePlus 10 Pro has some company in the area of lower-cost Android flagships. The $899 cost of the OnePlus 10 Pro is reason enough to celebrate, though. True, the S22 Ultra offers a built-in stylus, and its cameras performed slightly better than the OnePlus 10 Pro in some of the head-to-head shots we took. Since the phone maker previewed the phone in January for the OnePlus 10 Pro launch in China, we knew all about the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset powering the phone, the continued partnership with Hasselblad (and the camera improvements that promises) and the fast-refreshing display.

Several months later, the company confirmed that the 128GB model would never be released in the US due to “unforeseen supply constraints.” Given the various shortages still affecting the smartphone industry, it wouldn’t really come as a surprise if the same happened this time around as well. Presumably, that model would cost $999, given the €100 premium the additional storage demands in Europe. Despite its $899 price tag, the phone lacks mmWave 5G support, and the OnePlus 10 Pro doesn’t yet have a 256GB model.

The OnePlus 10 Pro now has an improved camera and longer ... (Business Insider)

The OnePlus 10 Pro rivals its Android phone competitors on battery life by as much as three hours.

Still, the OnePlus 10 Pro wouldn't be my phone of choice for taking photos, at least when I know that I prefer photos taken with other phones, like the S22 Plus, iPhone 13 Pro, and Pixel 6 Pro. You can read my reviews of the S22 Plus and iPhone 13 Pro Max here. I honestly didn't sense that the OnePlus 10 Pro feels more powerful with performance mode enabled. The Pixel 6 Pro maxes out around 20W, and the iPhone 13 series at around 20W. OnePlus tells me that its performance management on the OnePlus 10 Pro "matches each app with the most appropriate performance it needs," which explains why it scored lower in single-core performance than the S22 Plus to some extent. Enabling performance mode bumps up the single-core performance to 1,250, and it means that battery life is affected, but more on that below in the battery section. It results in longer battery life while maintaining perceivably comparable performance to the S22 Plus. I'd recommend OnePlus 10 Pro owners stick to the default FHD+ setting, as it's plenty sharp and will make for the best battery life. I only say it's "good" because the iPhone 13 Pro Max's battery life makes everything else seem lackluster, as it lasted an incredible 20 hours and 18 minutes. To compare, the S22 Plus scored 1,230 for single-core, and 3,429 for multi-core performance. There's nothing wrong with that, but the OnePlus 10 Pro's display looks more impressive. The OnePlus 10 Pro's OLED (organic-light-emitting-diode) display is the closest I've experienced to Samsung's superlative phone displays.

The OnePlus 10 Pro is a great smartphone. The OnePlus 10 Pro is a great smartphone. The OnePlus 10 Pro is a great smartphone. The 10 Pro’s ultra-wide video is even less wide than the iPhone, which is baffling. The OnePlus 10 Pro is a great smartphone. While the full 150º mode confusingly isn’t available in the 10 Pro’s main camera mode, you can activate it in the camera mode menu, and customize the interface to make it more easily accessible. OnePlus has kept the buttons and ports predictable on the 10 Pro. There’s a USB-C port on the base, a notification slider and power button on the right, and a volume rocker to the left. In turn, while it can get great shots in challenging scenes, about 20 percent of the OnePlus 10 Pro’s lowlight photos won’t be quite as good as we’d wish they were. The phone feels comfortable in hand, its weighting is great, and while we didn’t love the renders when we first laid eyes on them, in the flesh, the 10 Pro has won us over. The 10 Pro also costs less than the OnePlus 9 Pro did on launch which is unexpected. While on paper, the OnePlus 10 Pro is very similar to the 9 Pro, in the flesh they’re worlds apart to look at. This updated global version of the 10 Pro is loaded up with Google Play Services and Oxygen OS – OnePlus’s global interface for Western users, and we also have international pricing too.
