For those looking to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, toast the day with the Official Whiskey of the “Peaky Blinders” TV Show, and its Shelby Sour cocktail. Over the course of our partnership, we are excited to connect with a new, dynamic generation of whiskey drinkers through collaborative content and experiences that speak to the history and heart of our brand.” Said Scott Shillet, Vice President of Licensing at Endemol Shine North America, “What better way to welcome Bushmills as the Official Whiskey of the series than with a free whiskey cocktail for our loyal fans. Bushmills Irish Whiskey is crafted with care and passion at The Old Bushmills Distillery — with more than 400 years of whiskey-making heritage behind every bottle. Her presence and her character’s presence are very much still felt in the series, and is very much part of Tommy Shelby’s journey in the season. Bushmills has never wavered from its commitment to crafting great whiskey with a recipe passed down through generations of skilled and devoted whiskey-makers. “This is the culmination of the series that hopefully improves upon the last season and makes the most recent one the richest and deepest one that we possibly can — partially because of all of the pandemic shit happening in the world and, of course, the really sad loss of [Helen]. We are determined to make this a special series and we have been extra committed to working hard. I just hope that the show will live up to her memory and our memory of her.” The soundtrack features the haunting rendition of the show’s iconic theme song,“Red Right Hand,” by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds’ plus a version recorded specifically for the show by PJ Harvey which is only available on this soundtrack. The company also continues to develop and produce ground-breaking, culturally relevant content that is consistently part of pop culture vernacular. “The whole series is really in tribute to her and to honor her. Though the British gangster series “Peaky Blinders” has been airing In the U.K. since Feb. 27 on the BBC, Season 6 is finally heading to Netflix. 7 Period Drama Shows to Watch If You Love 'Peaky Blinders' (Collider.com)

We've assembled a list of the period dramas you should definitely watch if you love Peaky Blinders.

Based on the 1994 novel by Caleb Carr, The Alienist is an American crime period drama set in 1896 in New York. Dr. Laszlo Kreizler (Daniel Brühl), a criminal psychologist, John Moore (Luke Evans), a newspaper illustrator, and Sara Howard (Dakota Fanning), a secretary who wants to become a police detective, team up to resolve a series of horrible murders. Fortunately enough, an even more haunting and jaw-dropping second season of 6 episodes was released in 2017, to the delight of the fans. If you find yourself addicted to this first season, the good news is that Taboo Season 2 ( even if we don’t have a lot of updates on it yet), is meant to hit our screens again very soon. The latter has left a very interesting inheritance to his son: a piece of land in Canada. However, this isn't just any land to inherit; this one is highly coveted and will cost a fortune, especially once the war with America is over — and since James was presumed dead, his comeback represents a threat to a lot of dangerous people. Secrets, dirty money, corruption: Boardwalk Empire will surely bring you a bit of comfort after you finish Peaky Blinders. This HBO series follows the story of Enoch "Nucky" Thompson (Steve Buscemi), a politician and the crime boss of Atlantic City, New Jersey. With a pilot episode directed by Martin Scorcese, Boardwalk Empire set the tone for crime, mob period dramas for years to come. The Prohibition Era of the 1920s is the perfect background for a crime period drama.

I don't want to tarnish the lovely painting that has been painted by Cillian and the older gents and Steven himself. I think it's just something to explore as and when it comes up." For all we know somebody is going to pop out – I think I know who it's going to be," Knight added cryptically.

Esquire reported in February that Knight said a Peaky Blinders film would involve Cillian Murphy, who plays Tommy Shelby in the show. Knight revealed that the final episode of season six will be 81 minutes long and will in effect be a “dry run for the feature film.” Knight told Empire in January that the ending of the Peaky Blinders series, which is expected to see the first whispers of the Second World War, is where the film will start. But how likely is a Peaky Blinders feature film, when will it be released, and who will star in the ambitious project?

Tragic Peaky Blinders Theory Says Tommy Died At War & Imagined ... (Screen Rant)

Considering the strange extent of his success, and his persisting visions of the war, could Tommy Shelby's Peaky Blinders life have been imagined?

Though it is commonly sung as a Christmas carol, In The Bleak Midwinter was sung by the soon-to-be Peaky Blinders during their time in France, as the cavalry was late and they expected they had been left to die. His collaboration with high-ranking government officials, and his election as a Member of Parliament himself, can feel like unrealistic ventures for a man whose prior work experience is in the yeomanry and a razor blade gang. While the gang violence is a result of business between men, the combat in Tommy’s haunting memory of war seems more of a frantic bid to survive between boys. Though the gore of the scene is mild compared to many of the executions carried out by gangsters in Peaky Blinders, the claustrophobic setting of the tunnel and the desperation of Tommy’s melee make the scene particularly unnerving. Tommy can never truly escape his memories of the war, and the violent lifestyle he maintains is as close to warfare as is possible. However, the show could be interpreted as indicating that Tommy never returned from France, and his life in post-war Birmingham is a vision he is experiencing.
