For his Ukraine fundraiser, Trupia said he chose two symbols that epitomized hope, resistance and the country’s “bravery in the face of tyranny”: Zelensky and a molotov cocktail. Citizen Brick specializes in printing “ ” on Legos — for example, concocting a slew of miniature bongs and even a meth lab inspired by the “Breaking Bad” series. “Some kids have written saying, ‘I really like Lego and I had to leave my Lego collection behind.

The company has been operating for a decade and they aim to "make things Lego won't the way others can't." They wrote: "Due to the limited supply of necessary parts, we won't be able to make more. The lucky customers who purchased these items are now the owners of a one-of-a-kind product as Citizen Brick won't be making any more.

Joe Trupia of Citizen Brick added his own unique spin to sell toy molotov cocktails and figurines of the Ukrainian president.

The molotov cocktail is chosen as a sign of desperate rebellion by ordinary people with few weapons to unleash against a much more powerful foe. Citizen Brick is not tied to Lego but the Danish toy giant apparently tolerates its small-scale activities, and itself has made a multimillion donation of aid to Ukraine as well as suspending sales in Russia, the Post further reported. “He’s a guy who could’ve fled the country with a suitcase full of money and instead he’s sticking by his people … I was just so impressed by his steadfastness and the hope he seems to give to people,” Trupia told the Post.

Custom Lego maker firm Citizen Brick raised $145000 for Ukrainian refugees by selling a limited edition figurine of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

In one Instagram post, the firm mentioned, In their Instagram post, the firm revealed that the initial sale began on March 5. As per reports, the figures sold for $100 each.

Citizen Brick created a custom Volodymyr Zelenskyy LEGO minifig and Molotov cocktails to raise money for Ukraine.

While the original post is no longer available, and was apparently pulled from Instagram because of the Molotov cocktails, the custom LEGO pieces were a hit and sold out. In addition, they have stopped shipments of LEGO products to Russia. Chicago-based Citizen Brick, which makes custom LEGO minifigs, is doing its part in a unique and creative way.
