Farrah Forke, who co-starred on the long-running NBC sitcom "Wings," has died at age 54.

Forke did voice acting as well, playing the superhero Big Barda on the television series “Batman Beyond” and “Justice League Unlimited.” Forke appeared on Seasons 4 through 6 of “Wings,” which aired on NBC from 1990-1997. She played helicopter pilot (and veteran of Desert Storm) Alex Lambert at the show’s Nantucket airfield, and she was a love interest of both Joe (Tim Daly) and Brian Hackett (Steven Weber) — Brian eventually won her favor.

Actress Farrah Forke has died at the age of 54 after a long battle with cancer.

Forke played Alex Lambert on three seasons of the popular sitcom, a fixture of the NBC schedule in the 1990s.

Ms. Forke had health problems related to leakage from her silicone breast implants, which she had implanted in 1989. “I don’t mind playing pretty women,” Ms. Forke told The Morning News. “But I do mind playing bimbos. The show also starred Crystal Bernard, Tony Shalhoub and Thomas Haden Church. It did not say where in Texas she lived. Ms. Forke began her acting career with a role in a Texas production of “The Rocky Horror Show.” In 1989, she moved to New York, where she studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Theater & Film Institute in Manhattan. Farrah Forke, the actress who was catapulted to fame playing a helicopter pilot on the NBC sitcom “Wings,” died on Friday at her home in Texas. She was 54.
